Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama to miss Great Olympics clash
Asante Kotoko will be without in-form midfielder Fabio Gama for their next Premier League match against Great Olympics.
The 28-year-old has been suspended for the crucial encounter due to the number of accumulated yellow cards.
The Brazilian midfielder was booked in their game against Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak, and Berekum Chelsea which makes him ineligible to feature for the Porcupine Warriors against Olympics at Accra on Sunday.
Gama has been a key performer for Asante Kotoko since the commencement of the second round of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
He has scored two goals and provided three assists in his 14 game outings for Asante Kotoko since joining the club in October last year.
His absence will be a tough call for coach Barreto as he finds a replacement for the upcoming game.
Kotoko currently lies top of the league log after their 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in the week 19 fixtures played over the weekend.
