Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum assures fans of continuous hard work to win more matches

The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has assured supporters of the team’s continuous hard work to ensure many wins in upcoming matches.

The coach was full of praise for the supporters on Sunday following a 2-1 win against True Democracy in the quarter-final of the MTN FA Cup.

Speaking in a post-match interview, coach Prosper Narteh Ogum urged fans to continue supporting the team and to encourage players with positive words.

“For the supporters I will say a very big thank you to them. They have been very amazing. Today, I saw the support of the 80s and the 90s. They were so hopeful, they knew we were going to win, and so even though time was not on our side, they kept their calm.

“We will also try our best to deliver to their expectation. As I always say, these players, they tell me some of the comments put pressure on them, it draws their attention off the field. They should always be positive and they be confident. When they do that, we will achieve our targets. But I want to tell you that we are working harder and harder to make sure we get the results,” Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said.

Following the win in the MTN FA Cup, Asante Kotoko will now turn attention to the Ghana Premier League.

On Wednesday, the team will take on Berekum Chelsea to clear their outstanding Week 21 league game.
