Kotoko coach optimistic about team’s future after unbeaten run

Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed optimism about the team’s prospects, assuring fans that his squad will maintain their relentless work ethic to secure victories and bring joy to the supporters.

After three matches in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, Asante Kotoko remains unbeaten, boasting one win and two draws.

Following Sunday’s 1-1 stalemate with Berekum Chelsea on September 29, Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum praised his team’s performance.

In a message to the fans, he urged them to continue supporting the team, adding that there will be more wins in subsequent matches to make them happy.

To me, it was a good game [against Berekum Chelsea] and as you said both teams showed a lot of intensity. It was a good game.

We have played only three games. We have won one and drawn three so I think it’s a work in progress. The boys are doing well and so the fans should still support the team and I’m sure going forward we will give them what they want, coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said.

Following Asante Kotoko’s draw with Berekum Chelsea, the team is now 5th in the Ghana Premier League standings.
