Dr. Yamborigya subsequently progressed to the role of Assistant Commissioner and Head of Tax Audit at the Large Taxpayer Office (LTO), where he led initiatives aimed at enhancing tax compliance, broadening the tax base, and modernising domestic tax operations.
His appointment is anticipated to reinvigorate efforts to strengthen tax compliance, promote digitalisation initiatives, and enhance collaboration with stakeholders to bolster Ghana’s domestic revenue mobilisation strategies.
