Killers of Ahmed Suale will be found and made to face justice – Akufo-Addo
President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says killers of Ahmed Hussein-Suale will be found and made to face the full rigors of the law.
According to the President, the perpetrators behind this heinous crime will not go unpunished.
Speaking at the Annual Bar conference, the President assured Ghanaians of his commitment to resolving the murder involving the investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
“Crime is Crime, our law enforcement agencies are required to ensure that perpetrators of crime are rapidly apprehended and prosecuted. Strenuous efforts are being made to find the killer or killers of Ahmed Suale, who will be found and made to face justice,” he said.
On 16th January, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, a Ghanaian investigative journalist was shot near his family home in Accra.
Eyewitnesses say he was killed by two men who fired at the car from close range as it slowed for a junction.
The first bullet reportedly hit Hussein-Suale in the neck, forcing him to crash the car into a storefront.
A section of the Ghanaian populace believe he was assassinated because of his work as an investigative journalist.
