Karma Is For Everyone – Akuapem Poloo Taunts Afia Schwar After Court Sentence
Social media sensation, Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has hit back at Afia Schwarzenegger after the latter was sentenced to a 1o-day jail term by a court for defaming Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
The budding actress was sentenced to 90 days in prison in 2021 for indecent exposure after posting a nude photo with her son.
Subsequently, Afia Schwarzenegger, also known as Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, took to her social media pages to celebrate the incarceration of Akuapem Poloo.
Little did Afia Schwarzenegger know that she would also face a similar fate on the wrong side of the law.
Afia Schwarzenegger and the four others, together with UTV, were cited for contempt based on a discussion programme they held on the United Showbiz show and discussed the merits of a defamation suit pending in court.
It was about a case filed by Chairman Wontumi, represented by legal practitioner Maurice Ampaw.
The High Court in Tema, on Thursday, December 1, 2022, convicted and fined all the contemnors.
Afia Schwarzenegger was not in court on Thursday, so the court issued a bench warrant for her arrest.
She will spend 10 days in prison when arrested, while the others will pay GH¢60,000 each.
In default, they are to spend two months in jail.
The development has gotten Akuapem Poloo talking, with several posts to pay back Afia Schwar, who did the same to her.
“Know that karma is a b***h. Don’t wish for anyone’s downfall. Karma is for everyone. You can step on everyone’s toes, but if the person says he or she will take you to prison, you will go to prison. Know that, and don’t mock anybody”.
“Don’t mock anybody who is in trouble. Never jubilate. Don’t jubilate over anyone’s downfall. I will never want the downfall of anyone. Just stay safe so that you can enjoy Christmas with your family,” she said.
