Karela United part ways with twelve players over unimpressive performance
Karela United have parted ways with twelve players following an unimpressive performance for the club, according local media reports.
The Tamale-based club has been in dismal form after 15 matches into the Ghana Premier League campaign so far. They are currently occupying 15th position.
However, the club has decided to sever ties with underperforming players to make way for new additions in the ongoing transfer window.
Among the notable names released are Richard Berko and Ishmeal Nketsiah, alongside midfielder Mathew Adansi and forward Stephen Akani, who is reportedly undergoing training with Nzema Kotoko.
Other affected players include Bashiru Abdul, Joshua Addai, Muntari Shafiq, Shuraj Ishak, Oshe Mamoud, Abdul Rahman Fuseini, and Haruna Ganew.
Meanwhile, Karela United are expected to bolster their squad with new additions as they seek to turn things around.
