Jonathan Sowah, a former Medeama Sporting Club striker, has parted ways with Al-Nasr Benghazi, a Libyan club, after mutually terminating his contract just six months into his tenure.

The 25-year-old is now a free agent, having joined the North African side on January 27, 2024, for a reported €200,000, which was expected to end on December 31, 2025

Despite his impressive performances, including three goals in seven CAF Champions League appearances, Sowah’s time at Al-Nasr Benghazi has come to an end.

Before moving to join the Libyan side, his stint at Medeama Sporting Club saw him play a crucial role in the team’s title-winning campaign in the 2022-2023 season, earning him a call-up to the Black Stars for the 2023 AFCON.
