The Chairman of the Jomoro Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anthony Armah Benle, and some NDC executives have visited their Member of Parliament (MP), Dorcas Affo-Toffey, after she was involved in a near-fatal accident on Thursday.
According to the chairman, they were traumatised when they heard the news.
However, he says he is grateful that the MP and other injured members are responding to treatment.
Benle thanked Ghanaians, the people of Jomoro, and God for protecting the MP and hopes she will soon visit the constituency to continue her campaign for the December election.
In a related development, the Constituency Secretary, Emmanuel Ndarko Benle, has raised suspicion of foul play in the accident.
He alleged that some individuals have been trying to eliminate the MP since she won the seat four years ago.
He assured that the party will fully support the MP to secure victory again in December.
