Ghana goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot joins Scottish top-flight Hibernian
Black Stars goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot has completed a move to Scottish top-flight side Hibernian from English League One side Charlton Athletic.
Wollacot signed a three-year deal with the club for an undisclosed fee.
The move will see the Ghanaian reunites with his former trainer at Bristol City, Lee Johnson and expected to play a huge role for the side.
“We are delighted to complete the permanent signing of Ghanaian international Jojo Wollacott!”
“The goalkeeper joins Hibs from Charlton Athletic for undisclosed terms and has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal,” the club wrote on tweeter.
Wollacott is expected to provide competition for captain David Marshall ahead of the new season.
The Shot stopper has seen a massive rise in his career since breaking into the Black Stars team. Before making his debut for the national team, Wollacot was plying his trade in the English League Two.
Following an impressive performance, the goalkeeper secured a move to English League One, joining Charlton Athletic last summer, where he played 20 games.
