Joining The Massive Tribe band has enriched my musical journey – Feli Nuna

Ghanaian female rapper and singer Felicia Nuna Akosua Tawiah better known by her stage name Feli Nuna has expressed her gratitude for joining the Massive Tribe band.

The Massive Tribe is a dynamic collective of instrumentalists and vocalists. Founded by drummer and visionary Beda Ehrensperger. The band released its debut single, ‘Outerstellar’, on November 1, 2024.

With its two female lead vocalists effortlessly transitioning from rap to melodic singing, and its innovative blend of synthetic loops and live drums, ‘Outerstellar’ is a call to adventure for music lovers everywhere.

The song invites listeners into unexplored territories, awakening the curiosity of the inner child and encouraging self-exploration into uncharted possibilities – just as the band pushes into the unknown, the Outerstellar.

Speaking in an interview on Channel One TV‘s ‘The Chat‘, Feli Nuna while sharing the story of how she became part of the band a year ago recounted a spontaneous moment on stage where she and other guests joined the Massive Tribe for a jam session.

This encounter led to an introduction to Beda Ehrensperger and the blossoming of a musical friendship.

“So they were jamming on that stage so we just hopped on the stage Curl and Phisi, and some of the other guests..So it was after that I was introduced to Beda officially and we nurtured the friendship…One day he called me and said he wanted to talk to me and I said okay”. Feli Nuna told the host Ekow Koomson.

She continued, “I came over to the studio and he told me he wanted to put up a band ..he felt the energy on stage so he would like us to try something together…So this was like last year July … That was how it all started”.

The celebrated Ghanaian songstress described the experience as a “blessing” that has enriched her musical journey.
