John Mahama will lead NDC to victory in 2020 – Nii Lantey Vanderpuye
Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo Constituency, Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has stated that former President John Dramani Mahama will lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to victory come 2020.
The former Sports Minister believes Ghanaians are tired of the Akufo-Addo administration hence the need for a new party thus the NDC to come and fix the mess created by the current government.
Speaking on Power FM, Nii Lante said he has had negative feedback from several conversations with a section of Ghanaians on the state of the economy.
“I met with some executives of Abossey Okai spare parts dealers last Wednesday and from the conversation, you could see that they are yearning to vote out the ‘incompetent’ Akufo-Addo-led administration, ” he recounted.
The hardship expressed by the spare parts dealers, according to the MP shows that the current government has lost the elections in advance.
He added that the current government has also failed to fulfill the manifesto promises that they made to Ghanaians ahead of the 2016 elections.
“Currently, we are experiencing fuel hikes, reckless tax increments, electricity and water tariffs are up, ” he noted.
Based on the above inferences the Odododiodoo MP reiterated that the NDC will boot out the incumbent NPP in the 2020 elections next.
