Liverpool FC head coach Arne Slot is happy with the performance of Jeremie Frimpong as the Dutch player continues to make strides in the English Premier League.
Frimpong joined Liverpool ahead of the start of the 2025-2026 season from German side Bayer Leverkusen and has made 17 appearances in all competitions and registering an assist and two goals.
Speaking to the press ahead of Liverpool’s league tie against AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, Slot spoke highly of Frimpong’s impact but was cautious about his usage rate in connection to Frimpong’s injury history.
“One of the reasons Jeremie [Frimpong] played so many games is because he was the only player before Mo-Mohamed Salah-came back, I had for the right side.”

“ It’s also a risk because he’s been quite out long this season and now he has to play almost every game and he’s, as you can see, an intense player. He’s so fast so we have to take good care of him but he’s had a big impact since he’s played” Slot said according to the BBC.

Liverpool rank fourth in the league standings.
