Improve the quality of your work; Read! – Affail Monney charges Journalists
The President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Affail Monney has urged all journalists to cultivate the habit of reading to improve on the quality of their work.
Speaking at the launch of a book, ‘Principles of Applied and Practical Journalism” written by Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie in Accra, Mr. Monney admonished journalists to acquire the book and reflect on its content.
“Acquire this book, internalize it and reflect on its content to help bring about qualitative improvement in the media landscape” he said.

‘Principles of Applied and Practical Journalism” was authored by Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie, editor-in-Chief of the Daily Searchlight, an Accra-based private newspaper
Over the past twenty-five years, Ken Kuranchie has been a human rights and political activist.
In 2013, he was imprisoned for ten days by the Supreme Court of Ghana after he challenged the conduct of the court in its handling of the infamous Presidential Election Petition
Ken Kuranchie is also the author of “In Search of Vengeance,’ a fiction as well as a children’s book titled ‘The Rabbit, The Lizard and the Sparrow.’
