I’m sorry for treating you harshly; you are a wonderful person – Ken Agyapong tells Mahama

A presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has rendered an unqualified apology to former President John D. Mahama of the NDC for treating him unfairly and tagging him as a bad person previously.

According to the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, John Mahama is such a wonderful person.

Ken added that he is human and bound to make mistakes therefore John Mahama should find a place in his heart to forgive him for his inactions.

“The way he has handled me and how I have spoken harshly to John Mahama, I think I have not been fair to Mahama. He is such a wonderful man.

“I apologize, I am a human being. I think I recount my relationship with him and all that I want to say is I am sorry”, Ken noted in an interview monitored by The Ghana Report with Starr FM.

In 2020, Kennedy Agyapong attacked John Mahama verbally and threatened to burn his house and that of the former General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Asiedu Nketia if market fires continued to occur.

According to the controversial lawmaker, former President Mahama and Asiedu Nketia were the brains behind the fires that gutted many markets across the country three years ago.

In another instance, Kennedy Agyapong accused John Mahama of dating and sponsoring Kumawood actress, Tracey Boakye who he alleged is the baby mama.
