I’m not emotionally ready to feature in any movie – Kafui Danku
One of the most respected actresses of our time Kafui Danku has shared that she’s currently not emotionally prepared to take on a starring role in a film.
Kafui Danku who is also a producer is set to release her latest film, “Fear Women & Look,” on November 1, 2024.
Some of the cast in the movie include Kobi Rana, Clinton, Salma Mumin, Bella Agyemang and other talented new actors
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Channel One TV‘s ‘The Chat‘, Kafui Danku explaining why she wasn’t cast in the movie said she is not emotionally ready to act in any movie for now.
According to her, she’s focusing more on content creation and social media series, enjoying the behind-the-scenes roles of directing and producing.
“I’m not emotionally ready. For now, I’m enjoying content creation, Social media series…You know the Kafui Danku Series…I shoot it, I direct it…So I am loving more of being behind the scenes…So the series is just for me to vent my creative prowess out there.” She told the hostess Chris Kata who sat in for regular host Ekow Koomson.
Kafui Danku is known for her work in movies like “Any Other Monday,” “Alvina: Thunder and Lightning,” and “I Do,” She is also the author of the book Silence Is Not Golden.
