The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reaffirmed his commitment to keeping all promises made to Ghanaians as part of his plan to advance the country.

At the party’s manifesto launch in the Western Region on August 18, Dr Bawumia pledged to implement policies to drive economic growth and development if elected president in 2024.

He emphasized his vision of creating opportunities for all Ghanaians, especially the youth, through digital transformation, infrastructure development, and job creation.

Dr. Bawumia highlighted his commitment to investing in education and healthcare to build a resilient society.

He assured the crowd that his campaign promises were carefully crafted to address the nation’s pressing challenges.

“Indeed, we have listed them to show that we remain committed to fulfilling the social contract we have with the good people of Ghana.”

Dr. Bawumia vowed that his administration would lead Ghana towards prosperity and a brighter future for all.

“Above all, this exercise confirms that hundreds of pledges have been made to the Ghanaian people, and broadly, they have been kept, and given the opportunity, more impactful and forward-looking interventions will be implemented to move Ghana to the next level of the development journey; a journey that will build on our successes to open opportunities for all,” he said.

He promised to maintain fiscal discipline, combat corruption, and promote government accountability to restore public trust.

Despite recent economic difficulties, Dr. Bawumia expressed confidence that, with strong leadership, Ghana can overcome its challenges.

Calling on Ghanaians to trust his leadership, he committed to working closely with stakeholders, including the private sector, traditional leaders, and civil society, to ensure the effective implementation of development plans.
