Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Zubairu has thanked fans of Partizan Belgrade for their goodwill messages following an injury he sustained during the Serbian Superliga game against Radnicki over the weekend.
The former Ghana U20 star was replaced by Joh Youngjun after 35 minutes following a devastating ankle injury.
Zubairu has undergone a successful injury and will be out or the rest of the season.
“Hello, Grobari! Thank you for your messages and support. The surgery was successful, I’m feeling good now, and I’ll come back stronger than ever! Love you all!“ he said.
The ex-King Faisal player has been in sensational form for the Black and White since joining them last summer, scoring 9 goals and serving three assists in 26 games.
Despite his rich run of form, he is yet to receive a Black Stars invite.
The talented forward started his career in Ghana with Kumasi-based King Faisal Babies before moving to Serbia to sign for Jestindvo.
