Black Stars winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku says he feels so “amazing” after bagging his first ever hat-trick in professional circles.

Issahaku scored three goals and added an assist in Leicester City’s 5-0 win over Southampton in the Sky Bet English Championship. His performance was described by Leicester manager Enzo Maresca as fantastic.

The win means Leicester need to be victorious in one of their final two remaining games in the league season to secure automatic promotion to the English Premier League a little under a year after getting relegated from the Premier League.

Speaking after scoring his sixth goal in the league and registering his 12th assist, the 20-year-old who is on loan from Sporting Lisbon shared his excitement.

“I will just say thanks to the supporters. We keep going to the end. I feel so amazing for tonight and yes, we keep the same energy from tonight…and let’s keep going.”

Though he celebrated his third goal like football legend Asamoah Gyan, his second goal was picked by fans as the best goal.

In typical fashion, Issahaku moved the ball infield with speed and curled a wonderful effort into the far right side of the goal.
