I feel Mahama can actually save Ghana right now – Lisa Quama

Dancer and member of Dance with Purpose (DWP) academy, Lisa Quama, has expressed confidence in the leadership of Ghana’s president-elect, John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming years.

In a conversation during the New Year special, the dancer stated that she trusts that Mahama is capable of resetting the country as promised in his campaign policy.

Her remarks come following the president-elect’s request for Ghanaians to fast and pray for him and his officials as they prepare to take over power from the New Patriotic Party, considering that the early days could be tough.

“I feel like actually, President Mahama can save Ghana right now because there are a lot of things to fix in this country,” Lisa Quama said.

While some Ghanaians doubt the competence of the NDC due to the request, the dancer believes that Mr Mahama is capable but wants to give the citizenry a heads-up about the tasks his regime is set to undertake over the next four years.

Also, she is optimistic that the illegal mining popularly known as ‘Galamsey’ will be curbed under Mr Mahama’s administration.

“He’s trying to tell you that it’s a difficult task, and he’s telling you so that you’ll be prepared. But he has plans on fixing them because I know this galamsey thing will be fixed,” she added.

Other dancers on the panel included Richael, the Key Guy, and Melissa. They all trust Mr. Mahama to fix the country’s economy and make Ghana a better place to live.

The DWP Academy team took over from the regular hosts of a Morning Show, on Thursday, January 2, 2025, to give viewers a relaxing holiday experience and explore their presenting potential.
