Former President Jerry John Rawlings has disclosed that he is yet to watch, ‘Contract for sale’ documentary which implicated the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) CEO, Adjenim Boateng Adjei in a conflict of interest situation.
“I haven’t heard of “Contract for sale’ documentary…No I haven’t…I am not keeping up abreast with some of these events. But I will and when I do you can come back,” he told Joy News, Saturday.
Mr Rawlings who was speaking on the sidelines of the NDC Korle Klottey parliamentary candidates elections added, “We must continue the fight against corruption. It has destroyed too much. A-G to collaborate with Martin Amidu to ensure that the right things are done.”
The viral documentary by investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has gotten the country talking after the President suspend Mr Adjei and petitioned the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) and the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to investigate him.
