I am not threatened by Lynx Entertainment signees – Bisa Kdei

Highlife artiste, Bisa Kdei is not happy with the comparison people make between him and lynx Entertainment signees, Kuame Eugene and Kidi.

The ‘Mansa’ singer said comparing old artiste to new ones creates unhealthy rivalry.

“I always try to correct people when they ask if I feel threatened by them, we shouldn’t try to create confusion between old and new artistes,” he said.

According to him, the focus should be on encouraging artistes to collaborate to project the image of highlife.

“We need to encourage artiste to do more so we can project the image of highlife to the next level…now we have the likes of King Promise, Kuame Eugene, Kidi and it is beautiful and amazing”

So @kysfmonline he a live interview with Bisa Kdei on Facebook where he asked him if he feels threatened by Kuami Eugene or Kidi but Bisa wasn’t that happy with the question. Was it a wrong question?

“We should learn to encourage the artiste just like Cote d’Ivoire, Congo and others are doing” he added.

Bisa Kdei has in the past been ridiculed for his choice of lyrics, some refer to him as the ‘king of dirge’.

Before the advent of Kuame Eugene and Kidi in 2017, Kdei was the reigning highlife ‘king’.
