”I am not involved in the interdiction or de-interdiction of anyone”-IGP

Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has categorically denied ever ordering the interdiction of his accusers over their submissions before the parliamentary committee probing the leaked tape in which some plotted his removal from office.

In explaining this, the IGP said, he recused himself from the matter, thus the three senior police officers who were slapped with interdiction and withdrawal of the punitive measures less than 24 hours later were served by the Police Council.
