I am excited, I have not conceded – Mahama

The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Mahama has categorically denied reports that he has called to concede the 2020 presidential elections to Akufo-Addo.

“I want to state categorically and firmly that I have not congratulated any person”

The former president addressed Ghanaians at his residents in Cantonments thanking them for the votes and expressing his excitement at the results he says the party has collated.

“We have won 10 of out 16 regions… we have 140 seats in parliament which is a majority and so no attempt should be made to steal this election. We will resist it “

“It’s clear Ghanaians want change; Ghanaians are tired of the Akufo-Addo government.”

He accused the president of trying to use the military to change the result

the polls, an EC conference scheduled for 5 pm has been postponed.

In the midst of uncertainties, some reports are emerging on social media that John Mahama has called to concede.

Apparently irked by the reports, Mahama has come out publicly since casting his ballot yesterday to deliver a 4minutes address looking dense.

“Some of what is happening are unacceptable and Nana Akufo- Addo continues to show credentials that is very undemocratic” he noted.
