Huge boost as Ghanaian firms sell their wares at Exim-Bank ‘Tuesday Market’
To promote ‘Made-in-Ghana’ products, the Ghana Exim Bank created a platform for its clients to showcase their products.
The platform also functions as a one-stop shop for the general public to buy anything made locally.
Hundreds of businesses flood the premises of the Octagon in Accra to display and sell items from attractively packaged food to cosmetics, clothing and textiles, leather goods, and many more.
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer responsible for Banking & Business at Exim-Bank, Rosemary Beryl Archer, said, “With Tuesday Market, we are providing the platform to help them with the right packaging, appropriate branding, the requisite marketing, as well as receive financial and advisory support in order to scale up and also meet international standards”.
The Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, encouraged entrepreneurs to take advantage of the platform to expand their business and access new markets after visiting the market today, 10 May 2022.
