How Ghanaians reacted to Kudus’ early injury in Champions League debut
Many Ghanaians football fans were permeated with disappointment as they watched talented attacker Mohammed Kudus walk off the pitch a few minutes into his Champions League debut appearance for Ajax against Liverpool on Wednesday.
Kudus was the fans favourite ahead of the game at the Johan Cruyff Arena following his impressive performance for the Dutch side with three assists and a goal in his first three competitive games for the club.
The 20-year-old who was adjudged the Man of the Match in two of those games had his UEFA Champions League debut showdown cut short after suffering an early injury setback after just 6 minutes of game time.

Big blow to Kudus. Had one nice move at the beginning of the game and sadly had to leave the game because of injury. Hope it is not anything bad. Very disappointing if you ask me. Hope he recovers soon. Wanted to see him shine in front of a big club! More opportunities to come!
