The Asokore Mampong District Court has remanded in police custody the house-help who brutally murdered his boss and sold her KIA Sportage vehicle.
The accused, Allister John, and his accomplice, James Anokye, were arrested at their hideouts in Accra on September 14, following a police intelligence-led operation.
The duo are said to have murdered and dumped the body of 35-year-old businesswoman, Princess Afua Ahenkan at Sokoban-Apaaso near Kumasi.
A third accomplice, who was named by the suspect as the bidder of the stolen vehicle is still at large.
The accused persons were arraigned before His Worship Samuel Buabeng Quansah.
They are to reappear on October 3, 2023.
The court is also yet to take their pleas on the matter.
However, Allister John admitted to committing the act and took full responsibility for his actions.
He prayed to the court for leniency after the facts were read to the suspects.
Meanwhile, the family of the late Ahenkan stormed the court in their numbers to demand justice.
