Highlife Legend Kojo Antwi Mourns HIs Mother’s Dead
Legendary Ghanaian Highlife musician Kojo Antwi, widely known as ‘Mr. Music Man’, is mourning the loss of his beloved mother, Madam Mary Adwoa Nyamaa.
She passed away on November 13, 2024, at Mpraeso General Hospital in the Eastern Region, leaving her family and loved ones heartbroken.
Madam Nyamaa, a pivotal figure in Kojo Antwi’s life, was the inspiration behind his timeless hit song, ‘Bre bre Anowaa’.
The song remains one of the most celebrated tracks in his impressive repertoire, which spans 22 albums and has earned him recognition across Ghana and Africa.
Kojo Antwi, born Julius Kojo Antwi, grew up in a family of 13 siblings.
