Hearts to engage Togolese teams in series of preseason friendlies in Lome
Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have announced that they will play a series of friendlies against Togolese teams before the start of the new season.
The club confirmed this following their decision to move their preseason from Pobiman to Asutsuare in the Greater Accra Region.
After their time in Asutsuare, the team will travel to Togo to play several friendlies as they fine-tune their new-look squad for the upcoming season.
“On Thursday, the team will shift camp from its Kpobiman base to Asutsuare, where they will spend a period of one week. Whilst at Asutsuare, the players would undergo team bonding and other training regimes to prepare them for the challenges ahead,” the club said in a statement.
“After completing their training at Asutuare, Coach Ouattara and the squad will head to Lome, Togo. There, they’ll engage in friendly matches to fine-tune their skills and teamwork.
“We urge all of our followers to continue to offer their unflinching support to the team and follow us on all of our social media channels as we continue to bring you regular updates on the club’s activities.”
Hearts of Oak’s first game of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled against Baseke Holy Stars on September 7, 2024.
