Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak are likely to move home matches away from the Accra Sports Stadium in December.
This according to sources, the move has become necessary due to a scheduled renovation work at the Accra Stadium as well as a line-up of programs expected to be hosted at the stadium during the Christmas period.
Reports suggest that at the moment, the management of Hearts of Oak are considering playing their home matches at the Cape Coast Stadium when the time is up.
Other reports indicate the possibility of the Phobians choosing the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as the team’s interim home grounds in the Ghana Premier League.
Should Kumasi become the new home Hearts of Oak, their crucial match against bitter rivals Asante Kotoko scheduled for December 7, will be played at home grounds of their opponent.
As things stand, Hearts of Oak are yet to make a decision.
