Hearts of Oak in advanced talks to sign former Kotoko midfielder Enoch Morrison
Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are eager to strengthen their squad with the acquisition of former Asante Kotoko midfielder Enoch Morrison.
The Phobians are reportedly in advanced talks with Morrison, who is currently a free agent following the termination of his contract at Kotoko.
Hearts of Oak are said to have reached verbal agreement with Morrison and are set to negotiate personal terms with the midfielder this week.
Meanwhile, Ghana Premier League trio of Dreams FC, Samartex and Medeama have all expressed interest in the midfielder.
The Porcupine Warriors have opted to sever ties with the attacking midfielder despite his impressive performance in the recently concluded season.
He made 22 appearances in the Ghana Premier League, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
During his two-year spell at Kotoko, the former King Faisal made 53 appearances, scoring six goals and providing four assists across the period.
The 24-year-old joined Kotoko in August 2022, signing a three-year deal with the club. Despite having a year left on his existing contract, both parties decided to go their separate ways last week.
