Hearts, Kotoko announce contingents for London clash
Arch-rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak have each announced their contingents ahead of their London clash on March 7.
The match will see Ghana’s two most glamorous clubs square off for honours and bragging rights as they battle inside the Barnett Stadium at London in the United Kingdom.
It will be the first time two fierce rivals will be playing each other outside Ghana.
The titanic clash is an initiative by ProBall International Limited to commemorate Ghana’s 63rd independence anniversary celebration.
With both clubs leaving nothing to chance, they have named some of their key players. Kotoko’s 31-man contingent has the likes of striker Naby Laye Keita, Habib Mohammed and club captain, Felix Annan. Hearts of Oak, on the other hand, has strikers Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi making the list.
Conspicuously missing from Kotoko’s list is Sogne Yacouba, whose contract issue with the club has not resolved.
Below is the full list of contingents for both teams.
