Gyakie Celebrates 100 Million Views On YouTube
Ghanaian musician Gyakie has expressed excitement after obtaining over 100 million views on YouTube on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
Known in private life as Jacqueline Acheampong, Gyakie has gained international recognition for several hit songs in recent years.
Before reaching the new YouTube milestone yesterday, Gyakie had gained the honour of joining the YouTube Black Voices Class of 2023, joining other musicians from Jamaica, the United States, Nigeria, Australia, and Brazil, among others.
The YouTube Black Class of 2023 is geared towards providing Black innovators, artistes, composers, and producers, especially with direct financial assistance, to support their YouTube content and have a platform to share their opinions and experiences globally.
The ‘Forever’ hitmaker wrote on her Facebook page, saying, “100M Total views on YouTube plus a Major billboard at NYC for Black Voices. Thanks, YouTube And Big Congrats to my fans all over. I love you!.”
She posted the same message on her Twitter page, showing how joyful she was after gaining such recognition.

In addition to these achievements, Gyakie ow trending on billboards in New York City.
She hopes to climax the year with a concert dubbed ‘Party Live With Gyakie’ at the La Palm Beach Hotel in Accra on December 16, 2022, which happens to be her birthday.
