Ghana Premier League side Accra Great Olympics has appointed Bismark Kobby Mensah as its new head coach.

The former Karela United head coach joins the Dade Boys on a three-year contract.

Coach Mensah replaces Coach Yaw Preko who was sacked by the club following a recent poor performance in the ongoing league season.

His final match was a  2-1 defeat against a newly promoted side, Nsoatreman FC over the weekend in the matchday 17 games.

Meanwhile, Kobby Mensah resigned from Karela United in December and was part of the Black Galaxies technical team at the just-ended Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) team in Algeria.

Kobby Mensah’s task is to help the Accra-based club improve its performance to secure a comfortable position in the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season.

The ‘Dade’ boys are currently placed 10th on the league table with 23 points after the first round of the season.

Bismark Kobby Mensah’s first game will be a trip to the Nana Fosu Gyabour Park on Sunday to face Bechem United.
