GPL: Issah’s late goal seals Hearts of Oak victory over Young Apostles

Hamza Issah’s late strike sealed a crucial victory for Accra Hearts of Oak against Young Apostles in Wenchi, handing the Phobians their second win in four games.

Issah netted his second goal of the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season in the 86th minute, just moments after Samuel Prempeh’s stunning equalizer.

Prempeh’s acrobatic effort from outside the penalty area left goalkeeper Benjamin Asare with no chance.

Hearts midfielder Saani Mohammed assisted Issah’s winner, finding him inside the box to steer the ball home.

The win marks a significant turnaround for Hearts, who had started the season with two consecutive losses.
