The Gold Fields Ghana Foundation, under the leadership of Abdul Razak Yakubu, has fulfilled its pledge to support the maintenance of the newly renovated TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
The Foundation has donated essential items and manuals to the National Sports Authority, ensuring the stadium’s optimal condition.
This donation aligns with the Foundation’s commitment to providing necessary resources for the stadium’s upkeep, which was constructed to serve local clubs.
Yakubu emphasized the importance of maintenance, likening it to a phone’s manual, and highlighted the comprehensive scope of the donation, covering electrical, civil, and pitch maintenance.
The stadium was officially inaugurated with a friendly match between Medeama and Asante Kotoko, with Medeama emerging victorious.
As the home ground for Medeama’s upcoming season, the TnA Stadium is set to benefit from the Foundation’s ongoing support.
