The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has announced nominees for the 24th GJA Media Awards scheduled for Saturday, November, 23, 2019 at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City.
The nominees, numbering 48 were selected from different media outlets for their numerous efforts in promoting and enhancing good journalism practice in the country.
The GJA, General Secretary, Kofi Yeboah in a signed statement made this known on Monday [November, 18, 2019].
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the 24th Media Awards Committee, Betty Apau-Oppong, said the nominees were selected from 368 entries submitted in various categories.
She applauded all nominees on their achievement.
She also mentioned that a list of individuals and institutions who have supported the GJA over the past seven decades will be announced in due course for honours at the awards ceremony.
