Video: Motorbike rider dies in ghastly Kanda crash
A motorcycle rider died on the spot after crashing into a private vehicle on the Kanda Highway close to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Accra.
The driver of the vehicle was left in critical condition and was rushed to the Police Hospital for emergency medical care.

The incident occurred in the afternoon of Monday, September 7. Inspector Ayim Gyasi of the MTTD, who was at the scene confirmed to theghanareport.com.
According to him, the car was moving from Kanda towards Accra and the motorcycle moving from the opposite direction, tried to cut into the driver’s lane at a busy intersection.
Other witnesses say, the motorbike rider failed to heed the red ember of the traffic light. While the incoming car had the right of away, the motorbike rider turned sharply into his way.
A loud crash followed and shortly after a loud wail from some women as they surrounded the lifeless body of the driver whose identity is yet to be confirmed.
Shortly after the incident, an ambulance and a team of policer arrived at the scene. After examining the lifeless body of the motor rider who was wearing a pair of jeans, boots and polo shirt, they placed the remains in a body bag and carried it into a police pickup to the hospital.
The badly injured driver was placed in a stretcher into the ambulance and taken to the hospital.
The incident left the forefront of the car mangled and the motorcycle damaged. Inspector Gyasi revealed that the vehicle has also been towed to the police station.
The incident attracted a mob with some onlookers sobbing in tears. Other lamented how the driver has passed on at a young age.
Meanwhile, Inspector Gyasi cautioned motorists to be vigilant and adhere strictly to road regulations.
