Ghana’s Futsal Team hold first training session ahead of Africa Cup of Nations opener

The Ghana Futsal National Team is currently in Morocco to prepare for the upcoming Futsal Africa Cup of Nations tournament, which will take place from April 11-21, 2024, in Rabat.

Ghana is in Group A and will compete against Angola, Zambia and host nation Morocco.

In their opening match, Ghana will play against Zambia and then face Morocco and Zambia in subsequent matches.

The team held its first training session yesterday at the Salle Ibn Yassine in Rabat, with all 14 players actively participating under the guidance of head coach Philip Boakye and his technical team.

The team hopes to acclimatize and continue preparing for the tournament, as a top-three finish will qualify them for the 2024 Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan.
