Chinese business magnate, Jack Ma, has chosen music by Ghanaian artiste Dr Laylow as the theme song for his African Business Heroes programme.
In the song, Dr Laylow talks about his aspirations to be like Jack Ma and Dangote.
According to Dr Laylow he saw Jack Ma’s African heroes show on Instagram a few weeks ago so he randomly sent a song for him and the show named the song ‘Jack Ma.’
“Unexpectedly, I got a call the next day from his reps. Days after the song is Jack MAs African heroes theme song and I’m live dancing to the song with him on stage at the conference centre,” he said.
Jack Ma is also an investor, politician and philanthropist. He is the co-founder and former executive chairman of Alibaba Group, a multinational technology conglomerate.
He visited Ghana a few weeks ago for the Netpreneurship Summit, which was held at the Accra International Conference.
The finale event, called “Africa’s Business Heroes,” was held in Accra, Ghana, where the top 10 finalists pitched their businesses directly to four prestigious judges.
