The Ministry of Finance is set to host the first leg of the 2019 African Caucus Meeting of the Governors of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Accra between on Wednesday.
The programme will be held from Wednesday, 31st July to 2nd August, 2019.
The meeting is to focus on capacity and skills development as well as job creation on the theme ‘Enhancing Institutional Capacity and Skills development to accelerate jobs and economic transformation; Strengthening Institutional Capacity and Public Financial Management and Promoting growth’.
The African Caucus, held twice yearly, was set up with the objective of strengthening the voice of African Governors in Bretton Woods Institutions.
Speakers for next Wednesday’s event will include the Finance Minister, Chair of the African Caucus and Chair of the Development Committee of the World Bank, Hon Alan Kyeremateng and other eminent speakers.
