Ghana might have no representative in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup
Ghana is most likely to be without a representative for the CAF Confederation Cup after Medeama SC decided to withdraw from the Africa inter-club competition next season.
Medeama’s decision to pull out of the continental club competition means the country will not have a representation at the CAF Confederation Cup next season since it’s the only club with a license to participate.
As usual, it should be at least two slots for each country with Hearts of Oak picking the Champions League spot after winning the just ended league but the country needs a club licensed to represent in the continent’s second elite club competition in the next campaign.
AshantiGold SC who are in the finals of the FA cup against the Phobians can not represent Ghana due to its failure to apply for a license that would have made them eligible to participate.
