Ghana Premier League clubs to submit players for vaccination ahead of new season

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has requested all Ghana Premier League clubs to submit their squads for the COVID-19 vaccination exercise.

All the 18-teams are mandated to undertake the COVID-19 vaccination before they commence preseason ahead of the start of the 2021-22 season.

In a statement from the Ghana FA, the clubs are expected to submit a list of 60 players with 30 each from the senior team and juvenile team.

“We wish to inform all Premier League clubs that the National COVID-19 Team in partnership with the Football Association would embark on a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination exercise for all Premier League clubs before the commencement of the 2021/22 League Season.

“In line of the above, Premier League clubs are requested to submit list of sixty (30) Senior, 30 Juvenile) registered players and twenty (20) officials (Technical and Management) to the GFA Secretariat on or before Monday, October 11, 2021”.

The Ghana Premier League kicks off on October 29, 2021.
