Ghana FA under Kurt Okraku lacks transparency – Osei Palmer

Football administrator, Wilfred Osei Palmer, has chastised the GFA president, Kurt Okraku, for what he says is a lack of transparency in the country’s football management.

Osei Palmer, who is the President of Tema Youth FC, stressed that the recent appointment of the national team coaches has triggered the calls for transparency at the FA.

“There hasn’t been transparency at the Ghana Football Association since Kurt Okraku took over,” Osei Palmer said in an interview with JoyNews

“Just look at the appointments of coaches at our various national teams. And even the management committee which could have been done at Congress”

“I don’t want to discredit any of coaches but the process was questionable. Because under Kwasi Nyantakyi the whole process for the coaches was opened for everyone”

Kurt Okraku was elected to the high office of the Ghana Football Association in October 2019.

Osei Palmer has dragged the Ghana FA to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) for his disqualification from the 2019 Ghana Football Association Presidential elections.

The verdict of the case will be announced on July 17.
