Ghana confirms 21 new Mpox cases
Ghana has recorded 21 new cases of Mpox, raising the total number of confirmed infections to 467, according to the latest update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
The report indicates that the national death toll remains at one, with no current hospitalisations.
Cases have now been reported in all 16 regions, sparking growing concern over the continued spread of the virus across the country.

Health authorities have yet to confirm the arrival date of Mpox vaccines, despite assurances that doses have been secured for rollout.
Mpox is primarily spread through close physical contact.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Health Service is urging the public to remain vigilant, maintain good personal hygiene, and seek immediate medical attention if they experience symptoms such as fever, headache, rash, swollen lymph nodes, or muscle pain.
