Ghana captain Jordan Ayew donates to Muslim orphanages in Liberia

Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has extended his generosity to the Muslim orphanages in Liberia after donating several items for their participation in the holy month of Ramadan.

The Leicester star donated food items, including 70 bags of rice and other supplies to aid their involvement in the Islamic activity of fasting.

Ayew also provided 50 mattresses, prayer mats and Islamic literature to various orphanages in the West African nation.

The presentation was done through the Jordan Ayew Foundation, with managers of the philanthropic outfit ensuring items adequately reached the different destinations.

Meanwhile, Ayew will return to England in the coming days to continue his career with Leicester City as the Premier League resumes following the international break.

Leading the Black Stars for the first time as captain of the team, Ayew inspired the team to back-to-back victories in the World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar. The former Crystal Palace player scored and delivered four assists in the two matches.
