Veteran football administrator, Alhaji Grusah has been stunned after missing out on clinching a slot on the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The King Faisal Football Club owner declared his intention to run for the vacant presidential seat of the FA after Congress adopted the proposed statutes of the Normalization Committee.
Following further consultations, Alhaji Grusah changed his mind and revealed that he will love to serve on the Executive Committee as a representative from the Division One League Clubs instead.
At the end of the polls today, he has missed out after shockingly pulling just 9 votes.
He was beaten to the 3 available slots by Randy Abbey (26 votes), Mark Addo (25 votes), and Samuel Anim Addo (19 votes).
Other candidates who lost at the end of the elections include Lawyer Kwaku Ayiah, Gideon Ofosu, Justice Boison, as well as Erick Oppong.
