GFA announces date for 2024 awards
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the GFA Awards 2024 will take place on Monday, September 2, 2024, at the prestigious Wan-Shi Gardens in Accra.
“This highly anticipated event will celebrate excellence in Ghanaian football, recognising outstanding achievements across various categories,” said the GFA in a statement.
The awards will honour top performers from the Ghana Premier League, Women’s Premier League, Division One League, FA Cup, and regional juvenile leagues, among others.
“We are excited to recognise the best-performing referee, promising young players, and other notable contributors to the sport in the 2023/24 football season,” added the GFA.
This marks the second edition of the GFA Awards, with the inaugural ceremony held last year at the UPSA Auditorium.
“The event continues to grow in stature as it seeks to reward the hard work and dedication of those who contribute to the development and success of football in Ghana,” said the GFA.
The GFA Awards 2024 promises to be a night to remember, celebrating the achievements of those who have made a significant impact in Ghanaian football.
