GFA announce rescheduling of Week 28 games due to Dreams FC v Zamalek clash
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have announced the rescheduling of the dates for some selected Matchday 28 fixtures in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
The fixtures were expected to kick off from Friday, April 19 to Monday, April 22 but the games are now expected to be played Friday to Wednesday, which means, there will be no games on Sunday at the various venues.
This decision is to ensure maximum support for Dreams FC, who take on Egyptian giants, Zamalek SC, in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semifinal at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Dreams FC’s league fixture against Real Tamale United meanwhile, has also been postponed to a later date.
Karim Zito’s side became the first team to prevent Zamalek from scoring at home in this season’s CAF Confed Cup competition, after securing a goalless draw in the first leg at the Cairo International Stadium.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 16:00GMT.
