Gender, Information Minsters condemn ‘Counselor’ Lutterodt for misogynistic comments
Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Cynthia Morrison and Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah have condemned ‘counselor’ George Lutterodt for his misogynistic comments about rape victims.
“You will not understand it until you one time have a relationship with a rapist, anybody who has been raped…when you start the sexual act, it leads the person to that molestation and they associate the gravity of what they went through…I’m saying every rape victim enjoys it,” he said.
His comments sparked a barrage of criticisms from television personalities including Juliet Ibrahim, Lydia Forson, Sister Deborah, Nana Aba Anamoah, and Jessica Opare-Osaforo.
The Gender Minister has described his comments as insane.
“Has he raped somebody before? Does he know how rape victims feel about being raped… it is sad that the interview went on. What was the program about? How can somebody behave like that? This is so insane. This is just not right,” she criticised in an interview on Class FM.
Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah also took to Twitter and condemned his comments.
“Rape and violence against women is not something we should joke or toy with. We need to develop a more robust environment for protecting our wives, daughters, sisters, and mothers. https://t.co/Fr7Vk9xW9s

There is also a petition by Ivy Prosper, a Ghanaian-Canadian TV host, and lifestyle blogger, seeking to have him barred from appearing on television and radio.
I actually feel sorry for the woman married to Lutterot. With such misogynistic views and his vile rhetoric in relation to rape.
I wonder if she is safe with such a man. If anyone know’s her, they should check on her wellbeing.— Ama K Abebrese (@Ama_K_Abebrese) July 9, 2020
Such recklessness from Mr. Lutterodt should not be entertained. Smh! Really? https://t.co/0OMyW2nhSL

“Every Rape Victim Enjoys the Act”
This is a quote from a self professed ‘counsellor’ George Lutterodt from Ghana on a tv show yesterday.
He goes on to say that rape victims enjoy being raped regardless of their unwillingness in beginning of an act of rape. pic.twitter.com/o6MPis3hTL— Ama K Abebrese (@Ama_K_Abebrese) July 9, 2020
So ironic that the one with the filthy mouth, has no mask on. He promotes rape culture (victim blaming, slut-shaming, sexual objectification…) He should not be given a media platform to push such a harmful agenda! https://t.co/dFam8CoGml

YES! He is fueling Rape culture and sexual violence! This is clear case of a Rapist who’s sending out a direct message to the general public that Rape is okay. In his own words! He must be arrested and used as a scapegoat! #arrestgeorgelutterodt https://t.co/Ureh5bWjZ3
